Five people were injured in various degrees of severity after an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bread store in the center of Belaya Sloboda, Belovsky district. This was announced on August 31 by Alexander Khinshtein, Governor of the Kursk region.

"As a result of the attack, five people were injured in various degrees of severity — they have head injuries, blind shrapnel wounds," Khinstein said in the Maks messenger.

All the victims receive the necessary medical care. They are being transported to Kursk for treatment. The head of the region also reported on the wounded 67-year-old resident of the village of Kremyanoye in the Korneevsky district. He has shrapnel wounds to his right leg, and he refused to be hospitalized.

On the same day, four people were injured by a UAV attack on the Sverdlovsk region. Three apartment buildings were also damaged. All residents have been evacuated, and the buildings are being checked. A temporary accommodation facility has been set up in the Elizavetinsky Concert Hall.
