A woman injured in a minibus collision in Kyzyl died in hospital.
In Kyzyl, a 46-year-old woman died in hospital after a minibus hit a group of pedestrians. This was announced on August 31 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tyva.
According to the agency, as a result of a traffic accident, five victims, including three minors, were taken to the Republican Hospital No. 1.
"A 46-year-old female pedestrian died in the intensive care unit," the ministry said in a statement on the Maks messenger.
The Interior Ministry clarified that the one-year-old child is currently in intensive care. Doctors also hospitalized children aged three and 11 years. Another injured woman was released for outpatient treatment after receiving assistance.
The Interior Ministry of the republic reported that a minibus hit five pedestrians at a crossing on August 30. According to the agency, the driver drove through the intersection at a forbidding traffic light and ran over people who were crossing the road at that moment. The bus driver explained that he felt sick while driving.
