The air defense forces shot down two Ukrainian drones over the Kaluga region in a day.

The Air Defense Forces eliminated two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Kaluga Region during the day. This was announced on August 30 by Governor Vladislav Shapsha.

"During the day, the air defense forces destroyed two UAVs over the territory of the Ulyanovsk Municipal District," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

It is noted that there was no information about casualties or damage on the ground.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a record number of drones in a day, but the Russian air defense system stood the test of strength.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed 54 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia in a day. Drones were eliminated over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk and Rostov regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and the Black Sea.
