A passenger ship plying the Uglich – Rybinsk – Tutaev –Yaroslavl route was stranded on the Volga River in the Yaroslavl region. This was reported on August 29 in the press service of the North-Western Prosecutor's Office.

"According to preliminary data, the vessel of the Uglich – Rybinsk – Tutaev – Yaroslavl voyage ran aground in the waters of the Volga River. The reasons and circumstances are being established," the message in the Maks messenger says.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. According to the press service, no leakage of petroleum products has been detected.
