The Dome of Donbass system prevented 57 terrorist attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week.

The Dome of Donbass system and consolidated mobile firing groups (MOG) prevented 57 terrorist attacks from the enemy in a week. This was announced on August 30 by the press service of the Russian FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The ministry noted that Ukrainian formations continue to use the tactics of combined raids on civilians and infrastructure facilities in the region.

A Ukrainian Darts attack drone with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead was shot down near the railway junction near Horlivka. The enemy also tried to attack a construction site in Gorlovka using a Hornet drone with a 2 kg warhead. In addition, near Shakhtarsk, mobile firing groups destroyed a Crutch drone carrying a 2 kg high-explosive fragmentation munition.

The FSB clarified that the Dome of Donbass system combines the work of the republic's Ministry of Defense and receives technical data on the launch sites of enemy drones in the frontline zone. This information is transmitted to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Gorynych special forces unit of the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.

After intercepting the drones, explosives experts neutralize the suppressed drones and destroy the warheads, preventing damage to civilians and infrastructure.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a record number of drones in a day, but the Russian air defense system stood the test of strength.

A week earlier, on August 23, the UFSB for the DPR reported that the Donbass Dome had suppressed 88 terrorist attacks by the enemy. In the Proletarian district of Donetsk, mobile groups shot down enemy drones "Crutch" and RAM-2X, carrying high-explosive warheads. In the Petrovsky district of the city, militants tried to hit an electrical substation with a Baton drone with a similar warhead.
