Lukashenko completes two-day working trip to Russia
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has completed his two-day working visit to Russia. This was announced on August 29 by the Telegram channel Pool One, which is close to the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"For everyone who follows the political agenda on Saturday night: the visit of the First (Lukashenko. — Ed.) to Russia is completed. It was two busy working days," the publication says.
The President of Belarus arrived in Moscow on August 27. The next day, he met with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, where he stated that there was a common problem for Minsk and Moscow related to the situation south of the republic and in western Russia.
On Saturday, August 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Belarusian counterpart at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow. During the meeting, Putin pointed out that, despite all attempts to influence from the outside, trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is developing successfully.
