Businessman and owner of the Invitro franchises, Andrei Kaut, has been beating his ex-wife for the past five years, accusing her of bad behavior and improper parenting. Valeria herself told Izvestia about this on August 28.

"He beat me with his hands, with a towel, pushed me, threw me. He was unhappy with my behavior. That's not how I looked at it, that's not how I said it, that's not how I behave with children. He thinks that you need to be tougher with children, that I'm too soft a mother, I raise "slugs" and I'm a "slug myself," the woman explained.

Valeria explained that Kaut had always been overly emotional and short-tempered, and over the years his temper got worse. The children were afraid of his aggressive behavior, and during the scandals they hid in another room.

"For many years, I've been involving his parents as some kind of buffer in our scandals, as such an outside opinion. They had a beneficial effect on him, fulfilled the function of his conscience. They said, "Andrew, you can't behave like that." They pointed out my mistakes to me somewhere," the woman shared.

The businessman claimed that it was hard for him to live with his wife, but refused to leave and continued bullying.

"The crucial moment was when I took the children and we were forced to leave — he began demanding that I sell this apartment so that we could move into a rented one. He said he was tired of spending money on me and my family," Valeria added.

According to her, Kaut called these measures "a test of greed and commercialism." At the same time, the woman stressed that she had been working all her life and had been investing in the family budget for years.

Olga Lukmanova, the lawyer of Kaut's ex-wife, said on August 27 that Kaut had been beating his ex-wife for years and destroying the apartment in front of the children. The lawyer explained that the couple had lived together for 13 years and were raising three children. All this time, the woman suffered beatings and suspected that her husband might have a mental disorder — according to the lawyer, she found pills in his belongings. At the same time, the woman herself wants to take the children away from him through the court.

On August 28, the Invitro press service reported that the information about Kaut that he had abused his wife and children was private and could not be commented on in the company on the merits.
