Ushakov revealed details of Putin's program at the SCO summit in Kyrgyzstan

The official program of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Kyrgyzstan will begin on September 1 with a meeting of the Council of Heads of State, and Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold about nine bilateral meetings, starting with talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. This was announced on August 28 by Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"The official program of the summit begins on the morning of September 1. As usual, a welcoming ceremony is held for the heads of the SCO member states, they are greeted by the host, President of Kyrgyzstan [Sadyr] Japarov, active photography is carried out, and so on. Then, after that, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State will be held directly," he said at a briefing.

According to Ushakov, on the evening of August 31, the summit participants will gather at the opening ceremony of the Sixth World Nomad Games at the Bishkek Arena stadium, after which Japarov will give a dinner in honor of the heads of delegations.

The meeting of the Council of Heads of State will be held under the motto "25 years of the SCO: strengthening stability, expanding cooperation for further joint development." It will summarize the results of the organization's work for the anniversary, consider issues of further strengthening unification and cooperation in politics, security, economics and the humanitarian sphere.

The Russian leader will be accompanied at the summit by a "compact" seven-person delegation: Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, presidential aides Maxim Oreshkin, Dmitry Peskov and Yuri Ushakov, Russia's national coordinator for the SCO Bakhtiyor Khakimov and Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Alexei Vakun.

Ushakov added that Putin's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping will take place on August 31. During the talks, the heads of state will discuss topical issues of further development of bilateral cooperation, as well as major international issues. Ushakov stressed that Russia and China are closely coordinating efforts in the international arena and are actively developing trade and economic relations, which have reached a very high level.

The Russian President said on June 4 that the SCO was created as a tool for resolving border issues, but has grown and become a significant force.
