Harald V's son Haakon VIII became King of Norway.

The son of King Harald V of Norway, who died on August 28, 53-year-old Crown Prince Haakon, became the new monarch of the country. He ascended the throne after his father's death and will be named Haakon VIII, the royal house said.

"His Majesty King Haakon VIII is everything for Norway," reads the house's Facebook page (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
