Kuleba allowed the reduction of the mobilization age in Ukraine
On August 27, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba did not rule out that Kiev could reduce the age of mobilization.
"I can't rule out such a scenario. <...> But I think it's more likely than women's mobilization," he said on his YouTube channel.
Kuleba also questioned the beginning of the mobilization of women.
"Not this year for sure. <...> I don't believe that politicians will take such a step," he added.
Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said on August 22 that the Ukrainian Defense Ministry was preparing to take drastic measures to strengthen mobilization, including changing the draft age. At the same time, Kostenko expressed doubt that this year the order of mobilization of women and parents of three or more children will change.
On May 19, Pavel Palisa, Deputy Head of the office of President Vladimir Zelensky, allowed a reduction in the age of mobilization in Ukraine. According to him, it will depend on the situation at the front.
