Dodik called Mladic's death in the UN prison in The Hague premeditated murder.
Chairman of the leading political party of Republika Srpska (Entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina) On August 27, the Union of Independent Social Democrats Milorad Dodik called the death of former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic a premeditated murder.
"This is really a murder, because everything pointed to the poor state of [Mladic's] health, and it was a planned act that was supposed to lead to death," Dodik's words are quoted by Informer TV channel.
The politician believes that Mladic was deliberately not allowed to go to the hospital. According to Dodik, the same thing happened with former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic.
The Serbian Informer TV channel reported earlier that day that Mladic, who was convicted of genocide, had died. The channel's editor-in-chief is Dragan Y. Vucicevic, reporting on Mladic's death live, noted that it would be more correct to talk about the assassination of the general by The Hague Tribunal, rather than about his death.
Mladic has been in prison in The Hague since 2017 after being sentenced to life in prison by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
