Prices of the St. Petersburg-made Tenet A8 sedan have been announced

The new Tenet A8 sedan will be offered in Russia in two trim levels priced from 3 million and 3.5 million rubles, respectively. Each of which has its own power plant. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on August 27.

The Tenet A8 is a localized version of the Chinese Chery brand model from the Arrizo line and is produced in St. Petersburg Shushars. The dimensions of the car are 4757 mm in length, 1832 mm in width and 1469 mm in height, the wheelbase is 2770 mm. The Prime A8 is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 150 hp and a torque of 275 Nm. The motor is paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9 seconds. Fuel consumption in mixed mode is 7.5 liters per 100 km.

The list of equipment includes a 15.6-inch display of the media system and a 10.3-inch digital instrument panel, dual-zone climate control, electric trunk drive, atmospheric interior lighting, electric adjustments of the front seats and heating of all seats, LED optics with dynamic turn indicators, exterior mirrors with electric drive and heating, keyless entry, wireless connection of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system and 17-inch alloy wheels.

There is also an all-round viewing system, rear parking sensors, a driver fatigue monitoring system, light and rain sensors. Multi-layered windshield and front side windows are installed to enhance acoustic comfort. All versions of the A8 include a winter package, voice control, and a telematics system.

In the flagship version of the Ultra, the sedan received a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 197 hp and 375 Nm of torque. The unit operates with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 9.9 seconds. Fuel consumption in mixed mode is stated at 8.5 liters per 100 km. The external difference of this version is the double exhaust pipes. The expanded list of options includes a panoramic roof, ventilation of the front seats, front parking sensors, ADAS safety assistants, electric lumbar support and memory function for settings of the driver's seat and rear-view mirrors, wireless charging, DVR, audio system with 12 speakers, 18-inch discs.

Earlier that day, it was reported that sales of a new version of the Sollers ST8 pickup truck, which is being produced in Ulyanovsk based on the JAC model, had started in Russia. The car received a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 hp (390 Nm), which the older ST9 model already has, as well as an eight-speed automatic
