The verdict was approved for the members of the organized crime group Bones Bolshoy

The First Court of Appeal upheld the verdict of the defendants in the organized criminal group Konstantin Piskarev, nicknamed Kostya Bolshoy. This follows from the case file, which was reviewed by Izvestia on August 27.

It was noted that on March 31, Sergey Alexandrov, Sergey Barabashkin, Yuri Berezhnov, Alexander Zamyatin, Damir Kapkov, Andrey Stolyarov, as well as Dmitry and Nikolai Yurov were sentenced to terms ranging from eight years and nine months to 24 years in prison. Kostya Bolshoy himself was sentenced to life imprisonment in a special regime colony.

Depending on their role in the organized crime group, the defendants were accused of banditry, trafficking in weapons and explosives, attempted murder and numerous reprisals.

The former chairman of the board of directors of the football club was sentenced to 10 years in a high-security penal colony.

In 2022, Piskarev and eight of his accomplices refused to fully admit their guilt in banditry, murder, kidnapping and illegal arms trafficking. However, according to investigators, Piskarev has committed 21 murders since the mid-1990s. However, the bodies of some of the victims have not yet been found.

The Bolshoy Bones organized crime group has been keeping several Russian regions at bay for almost 20 years. Among other things, Piskarev is charged with the shooting of Sergiev Posad mayor Yevgeny Dushko in 2011, as well as the massacre of former deputy head of the Ministry of Justice Vladimir Postyshev in 2003 and director of the Scientific Center for Legal Information at the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation Marat Gazizov in 2004.
