Flight attendant found dead in a hotel trash can in Hawaii
The body of a Southwest Airlines flight attendant, 50-year-old Jenny Lupton, was found on the grounds of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii, Hawaii News Now reported on August 27.
The media notes that the woman was waiting for a transfer between flights at the hotel. Later, her body was discovered by a hotel employee next to a trash can. Lapton's nephew said that the family was told that she fell from the 24th floor of the Hilton Hawaiian Village hotel and fell into a dumpster.
The relatives of the deceased believe that she could not commit suicide. The family is asking the Attorney General of the State of Oklahoma to ensure a thorough investigation, as they consider the circumstances of her death suspicious.
"We have no reason to believe that Jenny could intentionally harm herself," her nephew said.
Lupton has a 15-year-old son. Honolulu police have opened a death investigation into unexplained circumstances. Detectives study surveillance footage, conduct interrogations, and collect evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
