A man without three fingers on his right hand was found fit to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 26 by military medic Evgenia Frankiv.

As proof, she posted on the Threads social network (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) photos of an injured hand, where only the little finger and ring finger were preserved.

"On behalf of the medical service, I send greetings to the chairman of the Military Medical Committee (military Medical commission. — Ed.) of the 4th department of the Bogodukhov RTCC Chernysh Alina Grigorievna," wrote Frankiv.

On August 16, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that a resident of Ternopil, Ukraine, with a high degree of myopia, was found fit to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was noted that the established stage of myopia is high and is considered pathological.
