The business program and speakers of the II Russian-Chinese Forum in Khabarovsk have been published

The official website has published the business program of the II Russian-Chinese Forum, which will be held on September 4-6 in Khabarovsk under the motto "Bolshoy Ussuriysky: cooperation in the joint development of the island." It will include more than 30 thematic sessions. The operator is the Roscongress Foundation.

"The Russian-Chinese forum, which will be held in Khabarovsk, is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries. It is planned to discuss the implementation of joint projects, including the development of Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island, which should show the friendship of our states. The event is designed to expand economic, technological and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and China," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.

The forum is expected to bring together more than 3,000 business representatives, government authorities, and experts from Russia and China. Among them are Dmitry Demeshin, Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory; Dmitry Zverev, State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia; Li Yang, Deputy Minister of Transport of the People's Republic of China; Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Relations with International organizations to achieve sustainable Development Goals; Veronika Nikishina, CEO of Russian Export Center JSC; and Opora President Alexander Kalinin, Senior Vice President, Head of the Small Business Unit of PJSC PSB Bank Irina Zhimerina, Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia Zhou Lijun, member of the CPC Committee of Heilongjiang Province Liu Zheng, Head of the Commerce Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hu Yingfeng, Chairman of the Working Committee "One Belt, One Road" of the Chinese Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Shang Shiwei, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Gao Jixiang.

"China is one of our key economic partners. We work together in trade, logistics, tourism, and the humanitarian field. Now that the Russian economy is increasingly focused on the Asia-Pacific markets, these links are becoming even more significant. This vector is set by our head of state, Vladimir Putin, and we are successfully implementing it. The main thing is that the forum should give a concrete result. We plan to consolidate the agreements reached, launch new projects and help our entrepreneurs find reliable partners in China," said Dmitry Demeshin, Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The central event will be the plenary session "Russian-Chinese cooperation: together towards sustainable development and prosperity." The participants will discuss Bolshoy Ussuriysky Island as a symbol of friendship and peace, the interaction of twin regions, the role of small business in the development of cooperation, new transport corridors between the two countries and the prospects for Russian-Chinese tourism.

A separate block of the program will be devoted to the joint development of the island. Investment projects of Russia and China, projects for joint development of the territory and the Amur River concept as an international transport corridor will be presented at the forum.

The 30th anniversary meeting of the Subcommittee on Cooperation in the Field of Transport of the Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission will be held within the framework of the forum. A separate inter-district meeting will be devoted to the implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" in the regions of the Far Eastern and Siberian Federal Districts.

The key topics of the business program include investment infrastructure, industrial and technological cooperation, agricultural exports, international settlements, digital currencies, development of transport corridors, artificial intelligence and space technologies. Special attention will be paid to the cross-Years of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of education. During the profile discussions, the development of vocational education, student and teacher exchange programs, the joint development of educational standards and the holding of professional skills competitions will be discussed.

Sessions on renewable energy, women's entrepreneurship development, creative industries, medical technologies, tourism and cross-border environmental cooperation are also provided.

The practical part of the business program will consist of B2B negotiations between Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs. Representatives of seven regions of Russia and ten provinces of China will take part in them. The negotiations will cover 15 industries, including the food industry, fisheries, agriculture, forestry, mechanical engineering, construction, light industry, fuel and energy complex, metallurgy, tourism, IT and telecommunications, creative industries, logistics, chemical industry and financial sector.
