Rosgvardiya specialists found more than 6 thousand explosive objects and 15.1 kg of explosives in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) in two months. This was reported on August 26 in the press service of the department.

According to the order of the commander, more than 3 thousand mine clearance groups participated in the work. 154 routes with a total length of 3,927 km and 5,176 objects with an area of more than 480 square kilometers were checked.

"6327 explosive objects and 15.1 kg of explosives were found and identified," TASS reports.

The ministry noted that engineering units are searching for and neutralizing explosive objects on a daily basis to ensure the safety of civilians, military personnel and equipment. A Russian Guard sapper with the call sign Zubr reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) often drop explosives from drones, disguising them as household items.

"The enemy often uses attention—grabbing objects to disguise improvised explosive devices - wallets, bundles of banknotes, smartphones, and even children's toys. They are dropped from unmanned aerial vehicles. It is especially important to warn children about this," the press service quoted him as saying.

Denis Firsov, commander of the assault detachment of the 102nd regiment of the motorized rifle division of the Center group of forces, reported on August 15 that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were using drones to drop mined objects on the territory of the DPR. Outwardly, they look like forgotten things, they can be placed on trails and routes of movement of the Russian military. According to the military, wires may be visible on some devices.

On July 30, the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had begun using animal carcasses to mask improvised explosive devices when mining roads.
