Stavropol Region declared the highest class of fire danger in forests
In the Stavropol Territory, the maximum (5th class) fire danger was extended until the end of the day on August 26. The regime operates in the northern and southeastern parts of the region.
During this period, any careless handling of fire or a spark can instantly cause a large-scale natural fire, writes IA StavropolMedia. Entry and entry into the forest area is strictly prohibited.
According to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, the rest of the territory, with the exception of the Foothill area, has a high (4th class) fire hazard.
Local residents and guests of the region were urged to take strict precautions. It is strictly forbidden to build an open fire, use barbecues, burn garbage and dry grass in forests and adjacent areas.
