A resident of St. Petersburg beat a friend to death on the grounds of jealousy

In St. Petersburg, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering an acquaintance on the grounds of jealousy. This was reported on August 25 on the website of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred between August 22 and 23 in an apartment building on Ligovsky Prospekt. There was a sudden conflict between the defendant and his friend on the grounds of jealousy. During the quarrel, the attacker inflicted multiple blows to the man's head and torso. The victim died at the scene from his injuries.
