The Summer in Moscow project presented a program of events for the end of August

A series of city events for residents and guests of the capital will be held in Moscow from August 26 to September 1. The program includes lectures, master classes, performances, a film festival, exhibitions and themed venues, according to the website of the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on August 25.

The Moscow Seasons festival site will be opened on Khachaturian Street, where free lectures will be held on August 26, 29 and 30. Russian Russian music producer and DJ Leonid Rudenko will talk on August 26 about the impact of Russian culture on the world using examples of Russian motifs in popular music (from 17:00 to 18:00).

Composer Konstantin Aghvanyan will give a lecture on periods in classical music on August 29 at 12:00. After it, at 13:00, composer Pavel Zhukov will perform at the Defense of Moscow (History of Military Songs and Symphonies) venue, and at 14:00, Ksenia Khramova, an artist of decorative and applied arts, will talk about famous Moscow dynasties.

Khramova will also give a lecture "Moscow and Daniil Moskovsky" on August 30 at 12:00. At 13:00, fashion designer Alexander Khramov will talk about the stories of Moscow manors, and at 14:00 Pavel Zhukov will conduct a Musical Guide to Moscow.

Also, on August 26, you can visit the Space Energy thematic tour for free at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNH, where they will tell the story of the Energia Corporation. To do this, you need to register in advance.

The State Darwin Museum will host the exhibition "Photo Seasons 2026", dedicated to urban scenes and observations of people's lives in different parts of Russia and the world. The exhibition can be visited on August 26 and 27, as well as from August 28 to August 30, except Mondays.

In addition, the museum presents a personal exhibition of the illustrator Olga Ionaitis "Fluffy Heroes of fairy tales" until October 4. Her author's illustrations to Russian fairy tales, works by Samuel Marshak and Kenneth Graham in watercolor technique are on display.

On August 24, Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalia Sergunina announced that within the framework of the fifth Moscow exhibition "Restoration. Import substitution in restoration materials and technologies" more than 220 events will be held. The exhibition will be held from 24 to 27 September.
