The Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed an assault regiment with mercenaries near Volchansk

The Ukrainian command has relocated units of the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment (OSH) to Kharkov with a large number of foreign mercenaries to prevent the encirclement of its forces. This was reported on August 25 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"There are reports of the arrival of units of the 33rd OSH in Kharkov, which has a high concentration of foreign mercenaries," the source told TASS.

It is noted that the deployed forces can be used to try to prevent the encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east of Volchansk.

On August 17, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that Ukrainian Armed Forces detachments had killed foreign mercenaries who were trying to surrender to Russian soldiers in the Kharkiv region.
