South Korea has increased the supply of noodles to Russia to the maximum since March

In July, South Korea increased its noodle exports to Russia to $2.83 million, which was the highest since March 2026. This became known on August 25 from the data of the South Korean statistical service, which was studied by RIA Novosti.

The bulk of the shipments were instant noodles, worth $2.77 million. In addition, Russian companies imported $48,000 worth of rice noodles and $11,000 worth of egg noodles from South Korea. Also in July, shipments of Korean dumplings, an analog of dumplings, increased. Their volume amounted to $113 thousand, which is 17% more than in June.

In total, in the first seven months of 2026, Russia imported noodles from South Korea for $23.6 million, which is 3% less than in the same period last year. At the same time, the supply of dumplings increased by 13% and reached $742 thousand.
