Choreographer Taj apologized to one of his students before his death.
Choreographer Taj (real name Dmitry Baymuradov), accused of sexual abuse, apologized to one of his students before his death. This was announced by dancer Natalia Kulga.
On the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), she posted a fragment of correspondence with Baymuradov, and also said that he had been her coach since the age of 14. Later, when the dancer turned 18, there was an episode with an attempt to forcibly kiss her and pull down her pants.
After the public accusations, Taj sent voicemails to the student, in which he said that he would like to personally apologize for what he had done.
Baymuradov's brother Suleiman announced the choreographer's death on August 23. According to preliminary information, the man committed suicide.
