The Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched a satellite into orbit in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry

The Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle successfully launched a spacecraft into orbit in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and the launch took place from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region. This was announced on August 24 by the Russian military department.

The launch of the rocket took place on Monday at 5:40 Moscow time from the State Test Cosmodrome of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. After the launch, Soyuz-2.1b was escorted by means of the ground-based automated control system of the Main Test Space Center named after German Titov.

At the estimated time, the spacecraft was launched into the target orbit and placed under the control of ground-based assets of the Aerospace Forces. The Ministry of Defense clarified that a stable telemetry connection has been established with the device, and its onboard systems are operating normally.
