Tastes from all over the world met near St. Petersburg today. A real gastronomic hurricane is raging at the Igora Drive racetrack. The Baltika: Waves of Taste festival is already claiming to be the main event of the summer. 50 hectares of entertainment, concerts by stars, and even Russia's first non-alcoholic beer mile championship. They not only treat you here, but also show you how the industry is developing and how a tradition is emerging.

Fragrant oriental pilaf, Spanish seafood paella, iced gazpacho. It sizzles and boils here on an astronomical scale: a ton of brisket on birch firewood, fish in a six-meter smoker, 3 thousand handmade sausages. The only thing worth it is the carousel, on which six lambs are fried at once. You look, and your head is spinning.

"Sea salt is the best, crushed Cambodian pepper and high-quality lamb. About 250 servings are being prepared at the same time," said Alexey Kanevsky, brand chef of the gastronomic zone of the Baltika: Waves of Taste festival.

That's why the festival is named "Waves of Taste". It is expected that at least 30 thousand guests will sail along them this weekend. The motorhome "Igor Drive" in the Leningrad region is once again a point of attraction, the center of event tourism.

"I came from Moscow on purpose, the food is good, delicious, well done," Viktor Korzhov and Natalia Minakova shared.

"We tried steaks for now and pilaf. We are waiting for the evening concert. The only thing we regretted was that we didn't get a ticket for tomorrow," said Artyom and Ksenia Dubrovy.

The festival is not just about food and drinks, although they are here, of course, for every taste. Here you can take part in Russia's first non-alcoholic beer mile championship.

Waves of Taste is a stylish festival where guests are presented with collections of domestic clothing brands. Lectures from restaurateurs, prize draws. Zhenya Lyubich, GayazovS BrotherS, Feduk, Billy's Band, BearWolf, and the CAGMO Symphony Orchestra will perform on the main musical stage with the program "Chorus of Russian Rock".

"Since last year, the habit of seeing not only motorsport here has been forming. We are certainly happy to expand, because we have kickers, mini golf, and races. Of course, this year's culinary zone is amazing. This expansion is encouraging," said Alexey Titov, General Director of the Motorhome Igor Drive.

There is a huge balloon in the sky, a vivid symbol of the industry's rise. The flagship of the Russian brewing industry, the Baltika company, sets trends. The company invests in the economy, develops new hop fields, reduces dependence on imports, and holds festivals that become a good tradition and a highlight of summer.

"We have revived the history of beer festivals in Russia. Last year we held the first festival, this year — "Baltika: Waves of Taste". We are transforming festivals, we are looking for how they will look in the future," said Dmitry Vizir, CEO of the Baltika brewing company.

50 hectares of entertainment, the opportunity to be at the best racetrack in the country, and not behind the wheel, but with a glass of foam. There will also be an opportunity to drive along the highway, where cars usually run at a speed of 300 km / h. Tomorrow it will be possible to do it by bike. The Baltika: Waves of Taste festival is only gaining momentum.

The Baltika: Waves of Taste festival started earlier in the day and will last on August 22 and 23. Visitors will enjoy two days of entertainment, sports, dishes from renowned chefs and, of course, their favorite music. Even a six-meter barbecue was created especially for the festival.
