Sergunina spoke about the business program of the Moscow International Film Week

In addition to film screenings and lectures, the program of the third Moscow International Film Week, which will be held from August 24 to 30 as part of Summer in Moscow, will traditionally include business sessions with experts. This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Professionals from 19 countries such as China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Brazil will gather in the capital. Industry representatives will discuss international cooperation and project promotion, the introduction of new technologies, the development of national online platforms, the training of young professionals and other topics," said Sergunina.

In total, more than 40 sessions with the participation of about 200 Russian and foreign experts will be held at the Moskino Film Factory on August 27-28. The key event of the business program will be devoted to discussing the possibilities of the Moscow film infrastructure. In particular, the guests will be told about the unique filming locations and measures to support the filmmakers. Another topic of discussion will be working with a foreign audience: what to look for when analyzing viewer preferences and what tools help in exporting content.

At another session, experts will discuss an international trend — the transformation of cinemas into multifunctional cultural spaces. In addition to the sessions, they increasingly offer visitors a wide program: lectures, exhibitions, master classes. In addition, experts will discuss the use of AI technologies to reduce film production time and reduce costs.

The cinema week will cover dozens of venues throughout the city, including the Moskino Film Park, cinemas of the same name chain and the Khudozhestvenny. There will also be a mobile cinema running in popular metropolitan locations. Those who wish will be able to join the Movie Night campaign, meet with famous filmmakers, listen to lectures, take part in excursions and master classes.

The event will be held under the auspices of the Moscow — the City of Cinema project, which involves the development of a multifunctional ecosystem for the creation of films, series and TV projects.
