Medvedchuk called Estonia a hub for drone manufacturers against Russia

Estonia has joined the drone war against Russia and has become a hub for companies developing attack drones. This was announced on Wednesday, August 21, by Viktor Medvedchuk, Chairman of the Council of the Other Ukraine movement.

According to him, which are quoted on the movement's website, in 2026 the republic acquired the importance of a logistics base in the development of the Ukrainian unmanned program. Medvedchuk noted that a corporate and technological hub for American, British and Ukrainian companies is being formed on Estonian territory. These companies are involved in the development of attack drones and unmanned boats.

Medvedchuk stressed that these technologies correspond to Kiev's military bet on scaling up the drone war and expanding strikes deep into Russian territory. According to the head of the movement, this indicates the deep industrial and technological integration of Tallinn with the military-industrial complex of Ukraine.

On August 18, RT reported that the European Union (EU) and the UAE are earning millions of euros by supplying equipment from Estonian startups in the field of drones for the needs of Ukraine. As the channel found out, since 2022, seven such companies have generated revenue of about 450 million euros. The total amount of EU investments in the development of the Estonian military IT cluster has reached €1.5 billion. Milrem Robotics, Threod Systems, DefSecIntel, Meridein Group, Cybernetica, Frankenburg Technologies and Lendurai are involved in the production.
