In Stavropol, 80 raids were carried out against spontaneous trade

Since the beginning of summer, about 80 raids have been carried out in Stavropol against spontaneous trade. As a result of the inspections, about 250 protocols were drawn up, the press service of the city administration reports.

"Negligent sellers sell goods of questionable quality, do not have documents and violate the conditions of food storage," explained Ivan Ulyanchenko, the head of the regional capital.

Since the beginning of 2026, inspectors have seized more than 19 tons of vegetables and fruits, 130 kg of fish, 35.5 kg of meat and dairy products, and more than 220 units of manufactured goods.

According to the StavropolMedia news agency, such raids take place regularly to ensure the health of citizens and combat illegal activities. Illegal trading sites violate sanitary standards and create unfavorable conditions for business development.
