A dangerous decrease in the water level in rivers was registered in Yamal

In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, river water levels are approaching dangerously low levels. The authorities have warned about possible adjustments to the operation of water transport.

According to the <url> news agency, the water level in the Pura River near the village of Urengoy in the Purovsky district will drop below 3.6 m. The water level in Nida in the Nadym district may drop below 2 m. This phenomenon is called low level.

The Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation noted that the same situation is developing in the neighboring Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug.

Earlier, a decrease in water levels was recorded in the Amur River near Khabarovsk. The flood has shifted downstream. The city has an emergency regime in connection with flooding of territories.
