The Russian government has allocated more than 1 billion rubles for new ambulances

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has allocated almost 1.03 billion rubles from the government's reserve fund for the renovation of ambulance fleets in the regions in 2026. The decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and it was published on August 20.

Funds have been allocated for the purchase of Russian-made ambulances. With the help of federal funds, 196 Class B vehicles will be purchased.

The machines will be delivered to 18 regions that most need such support. According to the government, these are the republics of Altai, Buryatia, Karelia and Mari El, Khabarovsk Territory, as well as Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kostroma, Kursk, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Yaroslavl and Jewish Autonomous Regions.

"Thus, we will support the renewal of the ambulance fleet in many regions, which will increase the level and, most importantly, the timeliness of emergency medical care in the field," Mishustin said at a government meeting.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade was instructed to monitor the targeted and effective use of budget allocations. The report must be submitted to the Government by February 1 next year.
