- NABU has published recordings of conversations within the framework of the anti-corruption operation
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) posted recordings of suspects' conversations on its Youtube channel against the background of the Forest Gump special operation to expose a criminal organization in the office of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
In the footage, one of the voices says that "only a half-wit can record stealing money and paying for their studies on his children." The "four bags" are also mentioned in conversations.
In addition, as part of the investigation, searches are taking place at the deputy head of the office of the president Irina Mudra, People's Deputy Vadim Stolar and ex-MP Maxim Mikitas. Officials of the Ministry of Justice and representatives of Sense Bank are also involved in the case.
The head of the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office, Alexander Klimenko, said on August 10 that the level of corruption in Ukraine was not decreasing, and the number of crimes in Zelensky's entourage was growing. The actions of the state, in his opinion, indicate the lack of the necessary political will to fully combat corruption.
Prior to this, the former press secretary of the Ukrainian leader, Yulia Mendel, said that Zelensky was stealing budget funds instead of directing them to the needs of the Ukrainian army. Mendel also appealed to the international community to wake up, stressing that Ukraine needs a cessation of hostilities.
