More than 132 thousand hectares of forest are burning in Yakutia

In Yakutia, more than 500 people are involved in extinguishing forest fires. The gorenje area exceeds 132 thousand hectares.

According to YakutiaMedia news agency, eight of the fires are large. The foci were registered in Nyurbinsky, Kobyaysky, Verkhnevilyuysky and Mirninsky districts.

36 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The state of emergency continues to operate in Yakutia.

Over the weekend, the area of forest fires in the Krasnoyarsk Territory decreased by 99.5 thousand hectares. 27 aircraft and water transport were involved in fighting the fire.
