- A resident of Konstantinovka told about the beating near the church of an autistic man by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) beat an autistic man near a church in Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic. Nikolai Terzi, a resident of the city, told about this on August 19.
"They beat me badly. He has autism," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
The man said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the patient after he mistook them for the Russian military and greeted them. When the father tried to protect his son, the attackers beat him too.
On August 13, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the military of the 20th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Southern Group of Forces had successfully withdrawn civilians with disabilities from the private sector of Konstantinovka. The greatest threat during the evacuation was posed by enemy drones and mines left by the enemy during the retreat. Despite the risks, the military moved to the shelter and took out all the citizens.
