The production of small body parts for UAZ began at the site in the Volga region

The industrial site of the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant has mastered the mass production of small stamped body parts for the entire UAZ car line. This is stated in the message of the Sollers company, which was received by Izvestia on August 18.

The project is being implemented at the facilities of the Zavolzhsky branch of UAZ (a resident of the ZMZ industrial Park). Universal presses with a force of up to 100 tons and automatic stamping equipment have been put into operation at the site.

By the end of this year, it is planned to master the production of over 650 items with an annual output of about 10 million products.

Albert Vazyansky, Director of the Zavolzhsky branch, noted that the expansion of the stamp range is a systematic stage in the development of the company's product line and production facilities, as well as helps ensure stable staff utilization and increase the site's contribution to the economy of the Sollers Group and the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The day before, it was reported that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant will begin selling the updated Patriot SUV in the Expedition special version this fall. Representatives of the company called the upgraded Patriot "the most daring in history." The model will receive a new range of units, fully LED optics and a compact multi-steering wheel.
