Logika Moloka will build a new dairy in the Moscow region

Dairy producer Logika Moloka has announced the construction of a flagship dairy plant in the Moscow Region. The enterprise will be equipped on the basis of the former warehouse of the Mercedes-Benz car concern in the territory of the industrial park "Severnoye Sheremetyevo" in Glazovo. The acquisition of the facility and adjacent territories has been completed, the company said.

"In order to remain the leader of the Russian dairy industry, meet demand and meet the requirements of the modern market, and create innovative dairy products, it is not enough just to modernize existing enterprises, but to build new highly automated facilities equipped with the latest science and technology," said Yakub Zakriev, CEO of Logika Moloka. According to him, the construction of a new plant in Glazovo will allow the company "not only to ensure the achievement of the goals set out in our 2030 Strategy, but will also contribute to strengthening Russia's food security."

The total investment in the project will amount to 30 billion rubles. The plant will be equipped with 11 lines for the production of milk, kefir, cottage cheese, sour cream, as well as drinking and spooning yoghurts, cottage cheese desserts with the possibility of expanding to new products. The maximum possible processing capacity will be up to 1.75 thousand tons of raw milk per day, which will make the plant one of the largest in Russia, noted in the Logic of Milk.

The company sees significant growth potential in demand for dairy products, especially in modern categories, as well as products with increased functionality and benefits for the body in both Russian and foreign markets, emphasized in the Logic of Milk. The company expressed confidence that the new facility will provide an opportunity to significantly increase the volume of production of high-demand categories of dairy products to meet current and future demand and expand the product portfolio.
