As part of the XI Eastern Economic Forum, the WEF International Youth Day "Day of the Future" will be held on September 4. The program includes a series of discussions, lectures and interactive formats on opportunities for youth self—realization, entrepreneurship, modern technologies, careers and prospects for the development of the Far East. The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.

"Today, young people are actively involved in shaping the image of modern Russia, ready to create the country's future. In this regard, one of the main tasks of the upcoming Day of the Future is to help young people realize various projects by creating a space for direct dialogue with representatives of business, government and the expert community. I am confident that the Eastern Economic Forum will allow young professionals to gain new knowledge and contacts, as well as identify prospects for implementing their initiatives in the Far East and other regions of Russia," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

This year, the Future Day program will bring together over 15 events. One of the central topics will be the development of entrepreneurship. Within the framework of the session "Code of the Creator: values, heroes and cultural code of youth entrepreneurship", business representatives and experts will discuss the image of a modern entrepreneur, his values and personal guidelines. The session "Business under the Microscope: an honest analysis of cases from the Far East" will be devoted to a practical view of business development, where entrepreneurs will analyze each other's business models in an open format and propose possible solutions for their development.

A separate section will be devoted to the promotion and scaling of Far Eastern projects. At the session "From the ends of the Earth to the Big Market: how the brands of the Far East are growing", participants will review the experience of young entrepreneurs who bring local products to federal and foreign markets, as well as discuss support tools and export opportunities.

The topic of artificial intelligence will occupy a significant place in the program. Experts will discuss how AI is changing consumer behavior and business approaches to promoting goods and services, as well as the prospects for using technology in education and the formation of regulatory rules for their use. In addition, during the session "The Downside of Technology: Cybersecurity for Young People," participants will explore ways to protect themselves from fraud, as well as discuss skills that future cybersecurity professionals need.

An important part of the Youth Day will be a conversation about the possibilities of territorial development. As part of the discussion "The Far East. Creativity is a driver of sustainable development" the participants will discuss the prospects that the macroregion opens up for young representatives of creative industries, media and cinema. The session "Geography of Impressions: How Partnerships create new Growth points for Russian Territories" will be devoted to the promotion of regions and the development of domestic tourism using joint government and business opportunities.

The session "Starting a career: the first steps into a profession" will be devoted to the career opportunities of young people. Representatives of leading Russian companies will talk about in-demand competencies, programs for the development of young professionals and professional growth opportunities.

The program will include the "Conversations about the Future" format, an informal dialogue between representatives of different generations about entrepreneurship, future skills, artificial intelligence and the role of the Far East in the Russian economy. There will also be a session "30 questions to the governor" dedicated to the prospects of youth self-realization, education, career, entrepreneurship and the participation of young people in the development of the Far East.

The participants of the Youth Day will be young entrepreneurs, specialists, students, representatives of public organizations, authorities and the expert community.

The Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 1-4 in Vladivostok at the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of the WEF-2026 is "The Far East — development for the benefit of people."
