A retired woman from Texas built a village for women only

American pensioner Robin Yerian has built a village called "Bird's Nest" in Texas, where housing is available only to women. The rental of the plot costs $450 per month. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on August 15.

"The tiny house community has attracted attention for offering affordable and safe housing for women in a quiet location. With prices starting at $450 per month, founder Robin Yerian offers residents not only financial independence and freedom, but also a cohesive community," the article says.

It is specified that 71-year-old Yerian spent $35,000 from her retirement account to buy five acres of land and another $150,000 for sanitation, electricity, water supply and roads. The settlement is located near Dallas, where 12 women over the age of 52 live, most of whom are single, divorced or widowed.
