Since July, Russian troops have hit more than 130 naval vessels that were used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Ukrainian ports and the Black Sea. This became known on August 16 from TASS calculations based on data from the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that in July, more than 80 vessels in the Black Sea and Ukrainian ports were hit.

From August 1-7, Russian forces attacked 34 naval vessels, including 31 cargo ships and three tugboats. From August 8 to August 15, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, 16 more ships were hit. Among them are a tanker, seven bulk carriers, two tugboats and six patrol boats.

On August 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that attack unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces hit warehouses with military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ukrainian port of Odessa. It was noted that the Russian Army continues to strike at the port infrastructure and naval vessels that the Ukrainian Armed Forces use for their own purposes.
