The Vinogradov Festival at VDNH brought together more than 25 wineries

More than 25 wineries presented their products at the Vinograd Festival, which is taking place for the first time on the territory of VDNH in Moscow. Lectures on the culture of winemaking, tasting areas with drinks and snacks of our own production, as well as a playground were prepared for visitors. Anastasia Kharchenko, a correspondent for Izvestia, spoke about the festival on August 15.

"It was important for us to show exactly what the Vinograd festival is. It is worth noting that a large, full—fledged version of the Vinohrady Festival will be held on September 10-13 in Yaroslavl," said Oksana Albina, General producer of the Vinohrady enogastronomical festivals.

The partner of the event was the Bely Cape project, implemented by the ROSSIYA Group of Joint-Stock Bank. The project was launched in Gelendzhik, which the project manager Dmitry Levitsky called one of the centers for the development of Russian winemaking.

"Both at Bely Mys and here, especially at the Vinograd Festival site, we give small winemakers the opportunity to show their products and acquaint Muscovites with what wonderful products are produced in different Russian regions today," Levitsky said.

The Vinogradov Wine Fair has become a part of the Flavors of Russia food festival, which unites producers from different regions of the country. The Kurchatov Institute Research Center, the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia and the Bely Mys wine City are responsible for the development of the wine sector.

On June 10, the fifth season of the large-scale enogastronomical Vinograd festival began in Veliky Novgorod, bringing together producers, scientists and artists. The program of the event includes fairs, theatrical performances, creative meetings and professional tastings.

The site is divided into thematic zones representing different wine regions of the country. In particular, in the thematic area representing Crimea, samples of the oldest Massandra enterprise are presented, whose specialists teach guests the art of sommelier.
