Russian swimmer Kolesnikov won silver at the European Championships in the 50 m backstroke

Russian swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov took second place in the 50 m backstroke at the European Aquatics Championships on August 14 in Paris.

Kolesnikov covered the distance in 24.12 seconds. Another representative of Russia, Pavel Samusenko, became the bronze medalist, showing a result of 24.14 seconds.

The European Aquatics Championships are held in Paris from July 31 to August 16. Russian athletes compete in the tournament in a neutral status.

Russian swimmer Evgenia Chikunova won the European Aquatics Championships in Paris on August 14, taking first place in the 200 m breaststroke. Another Russian, 21-year-old Daria Klepikova, became the bronze medalist, taking third place in the final heat of the 100 m butterfly.
