Polish tennis player Iga Schwentek defeated Kazakh athlete Elena Rybakina in the final of the WTA 1000 tennis tournament in Toronto. The meeting took place on August 13.

The game, which lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes, ended with the score 6:2, 6:3.

Schwentek never served straight, made one double fault and converted four break points out of five. Rybakina, in turn, scored one ace, made four double faults, and did not make a single break point.
