Russian gymnast Angelina Melnikova became the winner of the 2026 European Championships, which takes place in Zagreb, Croatia, in the individual all-around. Following the results of her performances on four shells, the athlete scored 55.932 points and won a gold medal. This was announced on August 13 by the Russian Gymnastics Federation.

For Melnikova, this is the fifth European champion title. The Russian athlete is also the 2020 Olympic champion and three-time world champion.
Anna Kalmykova, another representative of Russia, became the silver medalist of the tournament. She finished the competition with a score of 54.632 points. This is the first medal of the continental championships for the athlete. The bronze medal was won by Frenchwoman Elena Colas (53.966).
On November 23, 2025, Russian gymnast Milana Kayumova won gold in the uneven bars event at the World Junior Gymnastics Championships. According to the results of her speech, Kayumova received 13.933 points. Slovakia's Lucija Pilarova won silver (13,800), and American Caroline Moreau won bronze (13,333).
