NASA live broadcast of the solar eclipse marked Crimea on the map as Russian
The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), during a live broadcast posted on a YouTube channel, showed a map where Crimea was designated as the territory of Russia.
During the broadcast on the map, the peninsula was separated from the mainland by a line marking the state border.
At the same time, the Luhansk People's Republic, Donetsk People's Republic, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions were listed as territories of Ukraine.
On May 27, the head of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, announced that the legislature had officially approved the republic's border with the Kherson region. It was noted that this agreement only fixes the existing borders of the regions, without making any changes.
