More than 91.5 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables were harvested in the Moscow region

Agrarians of the Moscow region have harvested more than 91.5 thousand tons of greenhouse vegetables since the beginning of 2026. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the region.

A total of 60.1 thousand tons of cucumbers were harvested. The tomato harvest exceeded 29.5 thousand tons, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya. 1.5 thousand tons of greenery were harvested.

According to Agriculture Minister Vitaly Mosin, enterprises are implementing modern technologies and increasing the efficiency of greenhouse complexes.

Earlier it was reported that by the end of 2026, the strawberry harvest in Russia could grow by 8%. Favorable weather conditions and the development of breeding contribute to crop growth.
