Since January 2026, heavy-duty tow trucks from Moskovsky Parking, by decision of the traffic police, MADI and Rostransnadzor, have moved 1,571 buses and trucks to specialized parking lots, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

The main reasons for the evacuation of buses and trucks are non—payment of a fine for driving a vehicle without a tachograph that monitors the driver's work and rest hours, an arrest warrant issued by authorized officials, driving a vehicle with a deliberately faulty braking system, steering or coupling device, violation of the rules of stopping and parking, as well as non-compliance with the rules for transporting people. and cargo, including incorrect paperwork.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to make the roads of the capital even safer. Since the beginning of the year, 1,571 passenger and cargo vehicles have been moved to special parking lots. We ask the carriers to strictly comply with the requirements for the technical condition of the vehicles and the working conditions of the drivers. The safety of all road users depends on this," Liksutov said.

Moscow has specialized paid street parking for buses and trucks. For buses, they are located near attractions with a large tourist flow, for trucks — at shopping malls and shops for loading and unloading goods.
