The Tagansky District Court of Moscow fined Google 7.6 million rubles for not removing content banned in Russia. This was announced on August 12 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Two protocols were drawn up against the company, for each of which a fine of 3.8 million rubles was imposed.

We are talking about Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the procedure for restricting access to information, information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation").

On July 30, it was reported in the media that the total amount of debt forcibly recovered from the American corporation Google LLC in Russia exceeded 56 billion rubles.
