According to KrasnodarMedia news agency, the pests will be active again in late August and early September. There are 40 Rospotrebnadzor points in the region where you can submit the pest for analysis. In addition, precautions should be taken — wear light-colored, closed clothing, use repellents, and avoid dense thickets in forests and parks.

Doctors note that ticks can carry various infections. In addition to encephalitis, the bite carries the threat of infection with borreliosis, rickettsiosis, anaplasmosis and ehrlichiosis. One tick can carry several infections at once.
