In addition, the expert noted, mercenaries can provide information about commanders, locations of personnel, headquarters and firing points. Their phones may also contain contacts of other foreign fighters who are in Ukraine or undergoing training for sabotage in Russia.

The expert added that captured foreign mercenaries often agree to cooperate, hoping to save their lives and achieve more comfortable conditions of detention.
