According to forecasts, it will rain in most areas on August 12. The wind speed will reach 7-12 m/s. Rising water levels are predicted on most rivers. In Chita, the villages of Chindant and Ukurei, and the urban-type settlements of Atamanovka and Kokui, it is possible for water to reach the floodplain. The ChitaMedia news agency writes about this.

The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that during the rise of the water level, you should not try to ford rivers. Parents are asked to keep an eye on their children and explain to them that approaching water is life-threatening.

Earlier it was reported that the Fuyuan- Khabarovsk river service has been suspended since August 11 due to flooding. The ban applies to both passenger and cargo transportation.
