Alexandrova failed to reach the semifinals of the tennis tournament in Toronto
Russian tennis player, 19th racket of the world Ekaterina Alexandrova failed to reach the semifinals of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto, losing to Ukrainian athlete Elina Svitolina, ninth in the world ranking, in the 1/4 finals. The meeting took place on August 11 and ended with a score 3:6, 6:0, 6:3.
